The Saudi ADHD Society and the Ministry of Education signed today, Thursday 28/2/1442 AH, corresponding to 10/15/2020 AD, a joint memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting and developing services provided to students with ADHD in the fields of education and rehabilitation. The agreement was signed for the Saudi ADHD Society by Chairman of the Board of Directors HH Princess Nouf bint Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Saud, and it was signed for the Ministry of Education by HE the Deputy for Educational Programs, Dr. Maha Abdullah Al-Sulaiman.
The CEO of the Saudi ADHD Society, Nawal Muhammad Alsharef, expressed in a press release her happiness for signing this memorandum, which will promote and facilitate cooperation between the two parties in the educational and support fields for people with ADHD, and will focus on strengthening cooperation, integration and coordination between The Ministry of Education and the Saudi ADHD Society in serving students with ADHD in general education schools. The Society will devote all its capabilities to serve people affected by ADHD and improve their educational programs.
Nawal Alsharef added that the Memorandum of Understanding includes various areas of cooperation between the two parties, such as sharing experiences, holding meetings, workshops, awareness programs, and supporting ADHD programs in public education schools, which contribute to improving the school and educational environment.
